Joshua Dread’s parents are super villains. They spend their days training zombies, creating angry plants that use their braches as if they were limbs and inventing ways to destroy the world. This means the Dreads have to move house. A lot.

Apart from that, Joshua’s life is fairly average, until pencils start exploding in his hands.
As Joshua learns he has a super power that might or might not be controllable, he faces a dilemma. He doesn’t have to use his powers for evil, right?

Enter the world’s most famous hero and his daughter, a lunatic mastermind bent on controlling the world and smoke monsters and you get—action.

While Joshua sometimes slows the story’s pace by stopping to tell you things you already know, this high action story is jam packed with fun. Light hearted, you-know-this-isn’t-real life and death dilemmas and that make the pages fly.

An easy read that draws you in, right to the end.
