Not only does he hang out of helicopters and return teddies to babies, he also faces roaring lions, rescues ships tossed about at sea, and even assists the Queen with royal criminal escapades.
One day, Eliot receives a message from the world's most important scientists. A gigantic meteor is threatening the earth--can Eliot help??
Yes. Yes, he can. Taking his supersonic jet (he is also a skilled jet pilot) over the Alps, the Caspian Sea and across the Himalayas, he lands his plane and readies his meteor-busting rocket launcher. But will it be enough to blast the meteor to smithereens?
This is truly some super kid. It's no wonder he's quiet during the day!
Kids will love Eliot and his secret superhero tendencies. They'll love his unassuming form (including glasses and super cool red curls, not to mention aqua undies on the outside) and his nonchalance--after all, any great superhero isn't in it for the accolades.
Alex T Smith's fabulous illustrations provide a kooky, colourful and superlatively-designed backdrop for this action-packed story. I simply love his collaging effects and natural knack for humour.
Parents: get the capes out before reading! Little ones will soon be leaping from living room sofas in a single bound.
